In addition, the court reviews all proposals for constitutional amendments to ensure that they do not conflict with current texts, which enhances the stability of the reform process and prevents any violations. In cases of disputes related to amendments or interpretation of the constitution, the court plays a pivotal role in resolving these disputes with binding decisions, which contributes to avoiding legal chaos and enhances confidence in the judicial system. The court also contributes, by issuing clear and reasoned rulings, to enhancing transparency and community participation in discussions about constitutional reforms.Ultimately, the Federal Court supports the democratic system by ensuring that amendments reflect the popular will and respect basic democratic principles, which enhances the credibility of the political process in Iraq.
