المستخلص: This text carries out a work of psychoanalytic reading of the theoretical and clinical history of the concept of psychotrauma and its evolution among the first founders: S. Freud; D. Winnicott; S. Ferenczi; M. Khan. The interest is focused on the effect of the traumatic event on psychic functioning in both adults and children, with the exception that the latter is distinguished by its somato-psychic immaturity, in this sense it is a question of understanding how the trauma will operate in its psychic evolution, that is to say in the constitution of its personality in the process of formation.

Le présent texte réalise un travail de lecture psychanalytique de l’histoire théorique et clinique du concept de psychotraumatisme et de son évolution chez les premiers fondateurs: S. Freud; D. Winnicott; Ferenczi; M. Khan. L’intérêt est porté sur l’effet de l’événement traumatisant sur le fonctionnement psychique aussi bien chez l’adulte que chez l’enfant à ceci de près que ce dernier se distingue par son immaturité somato-psychique, dans ce sens il est question de saisir comment le trauma va opérer dans son évolution psychique, c’est-à-dire dans la constitution de sa personnalité en cours de formation.
