المستخلص: This paper investigates the correlation between economic conditions, policy instruments, and renewable electricity generation in Algeria over the period 1980- 2021, using Principal Component Analysis. The research results show that effective governance is a key factor in developing renewable energy. However, there is no correlation between FDI flows and the expansion of green electricity during the study period.

Cet article étudie la corrélation entre les conditions économiques, les indicateurs politiques et la production d'électricité renouvelable en Algérie durant la période 1980-2021, en utilisant l'Analyse en Composantes Principales. Les résultats de la recherche montrent qu’une gouvernance efficace est un facteur clé dans le développement des énergies renouvelables. Cependant, les flux d’IDE ne montrent aucune corrélation avec le développement de l’électricité verte durant la période étudiée.
