The purpose of this research is to explore the students’ perspectives on the effectiveness of Internet-based tools such as (Video platforms, mobile applications, online dictionaries, social media, and AI chatbots) in improving their pronunciation. The study also aims to explore what tools the students use the most, the difficulties they face while using these tools, and their suggestions to improve them. A questionnaire is used to collect the data. It combines both qualitative and quantitative questions. The participants of the research are 30 second year students of English at Ziane Achour University of Djelfa. The findings show that students positively perceive internet-based tools and that the majority value the benefits of these tools in their pronunciation learning. Youtube and language learning applications are the most used tools, students acknowledge that internet-based tools are flexible, easy, interactive, and offer authentic English content that help them learn the challenging features of pronunciation.
