| 520 | |b The notion of common sense (CS), first theorized in philosophy, inherits a plurality of definitions with such poorly defined boundaries that they give it an elusive character. And for good reason, this notion is reinvested in several disciplines and through the proposals of researchers and thinkers whose terminology differs: doxa, common rationality, received idea, first-degree knowledge, ideology, social images, common places, prejudices, etc. Beyond this terminological plurality, common sense commonly relates to widely held and commonly validated opinions. |d La notion de sens commun (SC), d’abord théorisée en philosophie, hérite d’une pluralité de définitions aux frontières si peu déterminées, qu’elles lui confèrent un caractère insaisissable. Et pour cause, cette notion est réinvestie dans plusieurs disciplines et à travers les propos de chercheurs et penseurs dont la terminologie diffère: doxa, rationalité commune, idée reçues, connaissance de premier degré, idéologie, images sociales, lieux commun, préjugés, etc. Au-delà de cette pluralité terminologique, le sens commun se rapporte communément aux opinions largement répandues et communément validées. | ||
