|b In the field of sociolinguistics, this contribution seeks to initiate a conversation about choosing the most appropriate language for university instruction in the digital era. Our objective is to analyze the linguistic representations of teachers in the scientific branches at the University of Djelfa, specifically the Faculty of Technology and the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Computer Science. To achieve this, we will analyze the metalinguistic discourse of teachers regarding the replacement of French with English in higher education.
|d Cette contribution, inscrite dans le champ conceptuel sociolinguistique, représente une réflexion sur le choix approprié de la langue dans l'enseignement universitaire à l’ère du numérique. Notre objectif est d’étudier les perceptions linguistiques des enseignants des branches scientifiques à l’université de Djelfa, plus précisément à la faculté de la technologie et à la faculté des sciences exactes et informatique. Pour ce faire, nous allons analyser le discours épilinguistique des enseignants quantà la substitution du français par l’anglais dans l’enseignement supérieur.
