| 520 | |b This article examines the problem of the practice of maritime chartering in Algeria. Indeed, Algeria provides almost all of its foreign trade by sea. On the other hand, the maritime transport market completely escapes Algerian economic operators. Today, Algerian regulations do not allow national operators to charter vessels to transport their imported or exported goods. The main objective of this article is not to give a lesson on charter law, but to draw attention to the possibilities for our country to build a merchant fleet and the reduction of the of freight cost through vessels chartering. |d Cet article se penche sur le problème de la pratique de l’affrètement maritime en Algérie. En effet, l’Algérie utilise la voie maritime dans la quasi-totalité de ses échanges extérieurs. Tandis que le marché du transport maritime échappe totalement aux opérateurs économiques algériens. Aujourd’hui, la réglementation algérienne ne permet pas aux opérateurs nationaux d’affréter des navires pour transporter leur marchandise importée ou exportée. L’objectif principal de cet article n’est pas de donner un cours du droit de l’affrètement, mais d’attirer l’attention sur les possibilités pour notre pays de constituer une flotte marchande et la réduction du coût du fret par le biais de l’affrètement. | ||
