This research addresses the topic of the relationship between the application of Knowledge Management Processes and the changes that have occurred in both the concept and roles of human resources management and functions. The goal is to study and analyze the most important aspects of these transformations and changes, especially what relates to the modern and new role of the human resources function that is stimulated by the application of knowledge management processes and the relationship of that to the goal. The basic goal of integrating the organization into the Knowledge Economy. We used the descriptive analytical approach, and the most important results of this research concern the issue of defining the changes required to ensure the success of the process of applying knowledge management processes, in addition to identifying the new functions that this process has produced in Human Resources Management within the framework of the strategic goal to enable the organization to integrate into the existing modern global economy. On knowledge and related technology by relying on the value of knowledge as the organization’s most important resource and the basic factor for excellence, rather than the value of tangibles (goods and services).
