المستخلص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على التأثيرات الطبية للمادة الفعالة المستخلصة من جذور بعض أنواع نبات الحميض الفلسطيني (Rumex) كعوامل مضادة للأورام ومضادة للأكسدة ومضادة للالتهابات ومدرة للبول، وتتلخص مشكلة الدراسة في السؤال الرئيس وهو "ماهي التأثيرات الطبية للمادة الفعالة المستخلصة من جذور بعض أنواع نبات الحميض الفلسطيني (Rumex)؟" وتبدو أهمية الدراسة في أنها تلقي الضوء على نبات الحميض واستعمالاته في الطب التقليدي والشعبي وكذلك طبيعة المادة الفعالة التي تم الحصول عليها من جذور بعض أنواعه وعرض بعض الدراسات المتعلقة بالتأثيرات الطبية لهذا المستخلص كمواد مضادة للأورام ومضادة للأكسدة ومضادة للالتهابات ومدرة للبول. تقسم الدراسة إلى مبحثين هما: المبحث الأول: تعريف نبات الحميض واستخداماته في الطب التقليدي والشعبي الفلسطيني وطريقة الحصول على المستخلص من جذور بعض أنواع نبات الحميض الفلسطيني وتركيبته. المبحث الثاني: التأثيرات الطبية للمادة الفعالة المستخلصة من جذور بعض أنواع نبات الحميض الفلسطيني. خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج والتوصيات، ولعل اهم نتائجها ما يلي: أن الدراسات والأبحاث العلمية الصادرة عن جهات الاختصاص تدل على أن المستخلص الذي تم الحصول عليه من بعض أنواع نبات الحميض الفلسطيني يتكون من مجموعة من المواد الفعالة وهي بالدرجة الأولى من مشتقات المواد متعددة الفينول (polyphenols) وهي (leukoanthocyanidins and catechins) وقد تم الحصول عليها بطريقة استخلاص خاصة من جذور نباتي الحميض الفلسطينيين Rumex dentatus, Rumex pulcher وان هذه المواد بعض إجراء الدراسات والتجارب والأبحاث عليها بشقيها (in vitro) وin vivo)) تبين أنها تمتلك مجموعة من التأثيرات الطبية كعوامل مضادة للأورام ومضادة للأكسدة ومضادة للالتهابات ومدرة للبول. ومن أهم التوصيات: أنه يمكن استخدام هذا المستخلص في علاج مجموعة من الأمراض التي تصيب الإنسان ولكن يجب على مراكز البحث العلمي زيادة الأبحاث للتأكد من سلامة استخدامه ويجب أن تخضع لمزيد من الأبحاث السريرية.

This study aims to shed light on the medical effects of the active substance extracted from the roots of some types of the Palestinian (Rumex) as anti-tumor, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and diuretic agents. The problem of the study is summarized in the main question, which is “What are the medical effects of the active substance extracted from the roots of some types of the Palestinian (Rumex) ? The importance of the study appears to be that it sheds light on the sorrel plant and its uses in traditional and folk medicine, as well as the nature of the active substance obtained from the roots of some of its species and presenting some studies related to the medical effects of this extract as anti-tumor, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and diuretic. The study is divided into two sections: The first section: Definition of the sorrel plant and its uses in Palestinian traditional and folk medicine, and the method of obtaining the extract from the roots of some types of the Palestinian sorrel plant and its composition. The second section: The medical effects of the active ingredient extracted from the roots of some types of Palestinian sorrel plant. The study concluded with a set of results and recommendations, perhaps the most important of which are the following: Studies and scientific research issued by competent authorities indicate that the extract obtained from some types of the Palestinian sorrel plant consists of a group of active substances, which are primarily derivatives of polyphenols (leukoanthocyanidins and catechins) from the roots of Rumex dentatus, Rumex pulcher and some studies have been conducted on these substances, both in vitro and in vivo. They have a range of medicinal effects as antitumor, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and diuretic agents. Among the most important recommendations: this extract can be used to treat a group of diseases that affect humans, but scientific research centers must increase research to ensure the safety of its use and must undergo more clinical research.
