المستخلص: أنجح الأعمال الروائية هي التي تعكس الواقع بإيجابياته وسلبياته لتلامس الشعور الجمعي محاولة إظهار الحقائق المرة قصد علاجها، وإذا لقي العمل الروائي مقروئية واستحسانا قد يرتقي إلى الإنتاج السنيمائي المحترف فيدخل كل البيوت ليتعرف عليه وعلى مقاصده أكبر شريحة من المجتمع على اختلاف المستويات الثقافية وبالتالي تتحقق مقاصد الكتابة فيُطرح المشكل قصد إيجاد الحل وتغير الذهنيات. لو تأملنا فيلم ريح الجنوب الذي كتبه عبد الحميد بن هدوقة وأخرجه محمد سليم رياض نجده يتناول عدة قضايا متعلقة بالواقع السياسي والاجتماعي والاقتصادي وأحداثه تدور في إحدى مداشر الجزائر العميقة، لكن ما شد انتباهنا هو موقع المرأة من كل هذه الظروف التي أجبرتها على احترام عادات وأعراف وهي رافضة لها، لأنها المرأة الحرة التي دافعت عن الوطن بالأمس ولم تبخل بحياتها قربانا له وتريد أن تتعلم وتتحضر ولا تكون مجرد آلة أو لعبة في يد الرجل يحقق بها ما يريد من أهداف، وتتمرد على عقدة الذكورة في المجتمع الشرقي ولا سيما الريفي منه ليصبح لها رأيا وصوتا وعنصرا فاعلا في المجتمع إلى جانب الرجل ويكون لها دور في التفكير والتخطيط فيكون لها دور في بناء وطنها وتريد أن تترك بصمتها وتثبت ذاتها وهويتها، فهل يتحقق لها ذلك؟

The most successful novels are those that reflect reality with its positives and negatives to touch the collective feeling, trying to show the bitter truths with the aim of treating them. If the novel is readable and well-received, it may rise to the level of professional cinematic production, entering every home so that the largest segment of society, regardless of cultural levels, can recognize it and its aims. Thus, the aims of writing are achieved, as the problem is raised with the aim of finding a solution and changing mentalities. If we contemplate the film “Southern Wind” written by Abdelhamid Ben Hadouga and directed by Mohamed Salim Riad, we find that it deals with several issues related to the political, social and economic reality, and its events take place in one of the deep villages of Algeria. However, what caught our attention was the position of women in all these circumstances that forced them to respect customs and traditions that they reject, because they are free women who defended the homeland yesterday and did not skimp on their lives as a sacrifice to it. They want to learn and become civilized and not be just a machine or a toy in the hands of men to achieve the goals they want. They rebel against the masculinity complex in eastern society, especially rural society, so that they have an opinion, a voice and an active element in society alongside men, and they have a role in thinking and planning, so that they have a role in building their homeland. They want to leave their mark and prove themselves and their identity. Will they achieve this?
