The reformation of the separation of powers principle in Algeria, notably after the constitutional amendment in 2020, exemplifies a dynamic adaptation emphasizing the uniqueness and autonomy of the governmental triad. This framework facilitates mechanisms of cooperation and mutual oversight between the legislative and executive branches, aimed at maintaining equilibrium.
