The presented study throws light on the future of the startup ecosystem in Saudi Arabia considering the influence of Vision 2030 and the outlined key trends defining the growth of entrepreneurship. The particular objectives are an assessment of the impact of the government initiatives, emerging sectors, and investment pattern on the contour of the start-up ecosystem, and identification of challenges impeding growth. he key takeaways suggest that FinTech continues to dwarf the ecosystem with a massive growth in e-commerce and foodtech sectors. But for startups, barriers include restricted access to later-stage funding and innovation gaps. The study has also encouraged innovation, suggesting measures to be undertaken, that included driving innovation and increasing access to capital as well as improving the ease of collaboration between government and private sectors in order to develop a globally competitive ecosystem. |
