|b The question of the border occupies an important place in contemporary African thought and artistic creation. We find it both in philosophers like Achille Mbembe and Felwine Sarr and in writers like Fatou Diome and Léonora Miano. On both sides its political use is denounced and its ethical function valorized. Both see it as a place of conjunction and not of disjunction. It is this connective function of the term border that Léonora Miano mobilizes in the development of her literary, ethical and intellectual posture. She gives it a pragmatic, aesthetic and anthropological orientation. This contribution aims to explore these three dimensions of the notion of border.
|d Cette réflexion explore la problématique de la frontière dans la pensée et la littérature africaines contemporaine, en s’appuyant sur l’oeuvre de Léonora Miano. En effet, aussi bien Miano que d’autres écrivains et philosophes dénoncent l’usage politique de la frontière et mettent en valeur sa fonction éthique. Les uns et les autres l’envisagent comme lieu de conjonction et non de disjonction. C’est cette fonction conjonctive du terme de frontière que mobilise Léonora Miano dans l’élaboration de sa posture littéraire et intellectuelle. Elle lui donne une orientation tant éthique qu’esthétique et anthropologique. Cette contribution vise à explorer ces trois dimensions de la notion de frontière.
