المستخلص: This study aims to clarify and demonstrate the importance of proving lineage, which is one of the major objectives in Islamic Sharia law as well as in positive laws. It also aims to explain the main methods of proving and disproving lineage, including modern scientific methods. Among the most prominent scientific methods that the judiciary relies on to resolve disputes in lineage cases is medical analysis. One of the most significant of these methods, after genetic fingerprinting, is blood analysis; the subject of this research article. This study examines the relationship between the child's blood and that of the parents through these analyses and the extent of its validity in proving or disproving lineage.
