This article offers a critical analysis of Shâb ou la nuit by Cécile Ladjali, exploring the themes of identity fragmentation and intercultural quest. The novel portrays an oscillation between two cultures, French and Persian, through poetic and fragmented writing. Ladjali addresses her dual identity, torn between her French and Iranian origins, and her constant effort to reconcile these two worlds. The study also examines the restorative role of reading and writing, which help the author overcome the challenges of her past and gain a deeper understanding of her identity. Cet article propose une analyse critique de Shâb ou la nuit de Cécile Ladjali, en examinant les thèmes de la fragmentation identitaire et de la quête interculturelle. Le roman met en scène une oscillation entre deux cultures, la française et la persane, à travers une écriture poétique et fragmentée. Ladjali y aborde sa double identité, partagée entre ses origines françaises et iraniennes, et son effort constant pour réconcilier ces deux mondes. L'étude s'intéresse aussi à la fonction réparatrice de la lecture et de l'écriture, qui permettent à l'auteure de surmonter les difficultés de son passé et de mieux comprendre son identité. |
