The primary objective of this article is to demonstrate that novelization, far from being a mere transposition from one medium to another, constitutes a creative and critical form of artistic reappropriation. Through the analysis of Sofia Aouine's Rhapsodie des oubliés, which draws inspiration from François Truffaut's film "The 400 Blows," the article examines how novelization can serve as an intermedial bridge, allowing for a meticulous study of characters and social contexts through literary means. The article also highlights the potential of novelization to update cinematic works through the lens of contemporary issues, thus transforming the cinematic heritage into a narrative that resonates with current societal challenges. By revealing these interactions, the study asserts that novelization does not merely extend the life of cinematic works but regenerates them, offering new perspectives and enriching the contemporary literary landscape.

L'objectif principal de l'article est de démontrer que la novellisation, loin d'être une simple transposition de média à média, constitue une forme créative et critique de réappropriation artistique. À travers l'analyse de Rhapsodie des oubliés de Sofia Aouine, qui s'inspire du film «Les quatre cents coups» de François Truffaut, l'article observe comment la novellisation peut servir de pont intermédial, permettant une étude minutieuse des personnages et des contextes sociaux par des moyens littéraires. L'article expose aussi le potentiel de la novellisation à actualiser les oeuvres cinématographiques à travers le prisme des problématiques contemporaines, transformant ainsi l'héritage cinématographique en une narration qui résonne avec les enjeux actuels de la société. En dévoilant ces interactions, l'étude affirme que la novellisation ne se contente pas de prolonger la vie des oeuvres cinématographiques mais les régénère, fournissant de nouvelles perspectives et un enrichissement du paysage littéraire contemporain.
