|a تهدف هذه الدراسة لتحديد الخصائص البيئية لمنطقة وادي الخمرة ودورها في تنمية المنطقة بيئيا، وقد اعتمدت في جمع البيانات على الدراسة الميدانية لمنطقة الدراسة والمعلومات المتاحة من الخرائط ونحوها من الجهات المختصة، بالإضافة إلى دراسة التغيرات في الغطاء الأرضي واستخدامات الأرض ما بين عامي (۲۰۱۲_۲۰۲۲م) ولهذا الهدف استخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقد استعانت الدراسة بمرئيات الأقمار الصناعية ومعالجتها باستخدام Arcgis، كما اعتمدت على الأسلوب الكارتوجرافي لإنتاج خرائط تلك التغيرات وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن منطقة وادي الخمرة تحظى بإمكانات تمكنها من تطبيق التنمية خاصة بعد نشوء القناة المائية ومرور المياه بها طوال العام ووجود الغطاء النباتي، والأراضي الزراعية، والثروة الحيوانية.
