The research deals with the role of the Czechoslovakian orientalist Alois Musil (1868-1944 A. D.) in following and reorganization structure of the most famous military campaigns Itineraries and their limitations in the ancient historical periods, in the middle Euphrates exactly. He follow some of the sites situated in the area which he studied, so he mentioned much the information available about the sites came from the Assyrian cuneiform texts, as the campaign of the Assyrian king, Tukulti - Ninnurta II in 884 B. C., and what have been mentioned by the writings of the classical Greek and the Roman writers as the campaign of the 10 thousands against the Persia known as the campaign of Xenephon in 401 B. C., and the Parthian stations by the Charax Asedoros in the midist of the first century A.D.
