المستخلص: The significance of the study is represeneted in focusing on the climate characterstics that relate to the bioclamitic comfort in the Samawa district with reference to Solar radiation, temperature, rain, humidity and wind and the effect of all these features on man s comfort by using the two equations of temperature-humidity index and wind -chill index. The study has arrived at a number of conclusions the most consprcuous of which is that the area on which the study was conducted has been found to enjoy abundant solar radiation despite the discrepancy in its quantity the temperature has differed between these months and day and mght. This applies to the other elements of climate. Accordingly, the findings of man s feeling of comfort dwring the seasons and months of the year and the times of the one day have differed.
