المستخلص: Security comes at the top of Israel's strategy. It mobilizes all local and allied potentials, present and strategic factors, to protect its national security. Her rational stance is to keep up pressure on the Palestinian government until it responds to the quadripartite demands. In dealing with the Palestinian government and Arab policies, Israel depends on the US commitment for its security, dealing with the quadripartite from a US-support point of view. In responding to the Palestinian, Arab and international machinations, Israel has two positions: One based on procrastination and another declared, pretending to respond to the road map plan, and stressing on Palestinian accomplishment of the map plan. But the Mecca Accord has put Israel in a real problematic situation; It now has to distinguish between Palestinian moderates and radicals. Israel considers Hamas as the greatest winner from the Mecca Accord without giving up its ideas or accepting the quadripartite conditions. On the Palestinian issue, Israel distinguishes between two types of solutions; A temporary solution for the establishment of a Palestinian state inside the border of the "separation wall"; and a permanent one, including refugee, Jerusalem, final boarder, water... etc, according to Israel's wishes. Lsrael works in the basis of a security agenda with some political implications meaning all of the Ehud Olmert government views are connected to ensuring compliance of the Palestinian unity government to Israeli demands. Palestinian effective powers put into consideration the issue of role-sharing through political solutions without going deep into a final settlement to solve the issue of Jerusalem, refugees and the independent state. This implies the management of the conflict instead of being involved in "conflict solution" with Israel, although such a policy may result in a high price and sufferings by
