المستخلص: In its headquarters in Amman, the Middle East Studies Center held on October 21, 2010 a seminar titled ‘Scenarios of 2010-2011 Round of Palestinian-Israeli Negotiations’. It was attended by a number of academics and politicians. The seminar was divided into 4 main topics: 1. Regional and international context to launch negotiations and Their political indicators 2. Parties’ attitudes, motives and demands 3. Negotiations’ future scenarios 4. Consequences of Negotiations’ success or failure on the conflict future. While discussing the scenarios, the participants expected that the negotiations will not fail at an early stage, for the relevant international and regional powers, especially the US, will pressure in favour of their continuation, but they are not likely to reach a final settlement. The maximum to be achieved is a framework agreement whose details will need further years. At the same time, Israel will carry on with its stealing and splitting of Palestinian territories. It was concluded that the current talks are far away from success due to Israeli unilateral actions, keeping the region crippled by the conflict. This would necessitate the outbreak of more crises and wars as no political process is underway to restore the rights of the Palestinian people.
