كتاب «العربية والأمن اللغوي» محاولة في وضع الوسائل التي تحقق الأمن للعربية، فهو حاجتها كحاجة الأمة العربية إلى الأمن الاقتصادي والأمن السياسي والأمن الغذائي، وتحتاجه ليعيد إليها نشاطها وحيويتها مثلما كانت في عصور من تاريخها، سأتحدث في هذا البحث عن وسائل الأمن اللغوي التي ذكرها الدكتور زهير غازي زاهد في هذا الكتاب، وأوضح أنه لو أحسن استعمالها بوعي وحرص على مستقبل هذه الأمة لأمكننا أن نحصل على النتائج المنشودة، ولخففنا من ثقل هذا اليأس الذي أخذ يمتدّ إلى آفاقنا، ونجلبه أحياناً بقصر النظر في تقدير الأحداث ونتائجها، وأحياناً بجاذبية الأطماع والمكاسب الفردية المؤقتة والسلطوية مهما طال أمدها، فيكون أثرها الجماعي الضار أوسع وأقسى من فائدتها. والغرض من كتابة هذا البحث هو الوقوف على وسائل الأمن اللغوي التي تحقق سلامة العربية وحمايتها فضلا عن بيان ما قدمه الدكتور زهير غازي زاهد في هذا الكتاب من جهد طيب، وقد قسمته على محاور عدة، هي: أ-السياسة اللغوية الموحدة. ب-العمل الجاد لتعريب التعليم والعلوم المختلفة وتدريسها في مراحل التعليم قبل الجامعة ثم المراحل العليا. ج-المصطلح-وضعه وتوحيده. د-اللغة ومناهج الدراسة. هـ-العربية واللهجات. و-الاتّساع اللغوي وإتباع المرونة تجاه الجديد والشائع مع مراعاة الفصاحة: لكل بحث هدف أو غاية فقد ختمت حديثي بخاتمة سطرت فيها أهم ما ابتغيه من كتابة بحثي هذا، ومن الله التوفيق. \

The purpose of the writing of this research was to examine the linguistic means of security that meet the safety and protection of Arab as well as the statement by Dr. Zouhair Zahid Ghazi in this book from a good effort, have been assessed on several axes, are: A - standard language policy. B - The hard work for the Arabization of education and science and taught in various stages of education before university and upper stages. C - The term - developed and standardized. D - The language and curriculum. E - Arabic dialects. And - expanding the linguistic and flexibility to pursue new and popular mind with eloquence: Each search goal or target of the newly concluded, established the most important conclusion is doting of writing this research, and reconciled to God. \
