يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة واقع استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في جامعة الطائف والتعرف على مدى تطبيق تكنولوجيا المعلومات في الجامعة، وتتمثل مشكلة البحث حول التعرف على دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات في تحسين عملية اتخاذ القرارات في جامعة الطائف من خلال معرفة مدى تأثير استخدام هذه التكنولوجيا على مراحل عملية تفعيل اتخاذ القرارات، إضافة إلى معرفة التعرف على مدى وجود فروق في اتجاهات العاملين في الجامعة نحو دور هذه التكنولوجيا في تفعيل عملية اتخاذ القرارات تعزى إلى خصائصهم الشخصية والوظيفية. وبعد تحليل الاستبانة واختبار الفرضيات تم التوصل إلى النتائج الآتية: 1. أن استخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في جامعة الطائف أدت إلى تحسين مرحلة تحديد وتعريف المشكلة وجمع البيانات وتحليلها وتحديد البدائل واختيار البديل الأنسب في عملية اتخاذ القرارات. 2. توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات الموظفين في جامعة الطائف نحو دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات في اتخاذ القرارات الإدارية تعزى إلى العمر ومتوسط الدخل والخبرة الوظيفية والمؤهل العلمي والمستوى الوظيفى والدورات التدريبية. في حين لا توجد فروق تعزى إلى الحالة الاجتماعية. 3. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات الموظفين في جامعة الطائف نحو دور تكنولوجيا المعلومات في اتخاذ القرارات الإدارية تعزى إلى الحالة الاجتماعية. \
This research aims to study the reality of the use of information technology at the University of Taif and to identify the extent of application of information technology at the university.The problem of research on identifying the rôle of information technology to improve decision-making process at the University of Taif by knowing the impact of the use of this technology on the stages of the process of activating the decision-making, as well as leam to identify the extent of différences in employees attitudes at the university about the rôle of this technology in the activate the process of decision-making due to personal characteristics and functional. After analyzing the questionnaire and testing of hypotheses have been reached foliowing results:- • the use of information technology at the University of Taif have improved the process of identifying and defining the problem, data collection and analysis and to identify alternatives and select the most appropriate alternative in the decision-making process. • no statistically signifïcant différences in the trends of the staff at the University of Taif about the rôle of information technology in management decision-making due to âge, average income and job experience and qualifications and the functional level and training courses. While there are no différences attributable to the social situation • No statistically signifïcant différences in the trends of the staff at the University of Taif about the rôle of information technology in management decision-making due to the social situation. \
