|a إن الهدف الرئيس من هذا البحث هو الكشف عن مدى تأثير كل من متغيري مستوى الأداء الأكاديمي للطالب ومفهومه عن ذاته والتفاعل بينهما على تقديره للكفاءة المهنية لعضو هيئة التدريس. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف تم تطبيق مقياس مفهوم الذات لطلاب الجامعة لمنسي (1986)، واستبانة تقدير الكفاءة المهنية للأستاذ الجامعي لإبراهيم (2004)، على عينة البحث التي تكونت من (118) طالبا من الطلاب الذين يتلقون مقرر "التعلم والفروق الفردية" في الفصل الدراسي الثاني من العام الجامعي 1424/1425هـ. بكلية التربية جامعة طيبة، وتوصل البحث إلى أن مستوى الأداء الأكاديمي للطالب ليس له تأثير على تقديره للكفاءة المهنية لعضو هيئة التدريس، وأن مفهوم الذات له تأثير قوي على تقدير الكفاءة المهنية لعضو هيئة التدريس، وأنه لا يوجد تأثير دال للتفاعل بين متغيري مستوى الأداء الأكاديمي للطالب ومفهومه عن ذاته على تقديره للكفاءة المهنية لعضو هيئة التدريس. هذا، وقد اقترحت الدراسة التريث في الاعتماد على رأي الطالب للحكم على كفاءة عضو هيئة التدريس لحين التأكد من تلك النتيجة بعد إجراء بحوث أخرى مماثلة.
|b The Impact of The Student's Level of Academic Performance and His Self-concept on His Evaluation of the Professional Capability of Staff Members at The Faculty of Education - Taibah University – Almadinah Almunawwarah – KSA. This paper aims mainly to determine the effect of each of the variables of the student's level of academic performance and his self-concept and the interaction between them on his evaluation of staff members' professional capability. To achieve this objective, the student's self-concept measure developed by Mansi has been used (1986), along with University staff member's professional capability questionnaire by Ibrahim (2004) – They have been applied to the sample consisting of 118 students taking course number 233 EDPS (Learning and individual differences) in the second semester of the academic year, 1424/1425 corresponding to 2003 at the Faculty of Education – Taibah University – Almadinah Almunawwarah. The researcher concluded that the student level of academic performance has no effect on his evaluation of staff members' professional capability, but his self-concept has ruch an effect. The researcher has fouud out that there is no significant effect of the interaction between variables of the student's level of academic performance and self-concept and his evaluation of the staff members professional capability. The researcher recommended that relying on the student's evaluation of the staff members' capability may well be postponed until making sure of that result and in light of Similar Student to be conducted in the future.
