هدفت الدراسة الى الكشف عن أهم العوامل المساعدة على التنمية المهنية لأعضاء التدريس بالجامعات السعودية. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. اشتملت مجموعة الدراسة على 215 عضو من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة. وتمثلت أدوات الدراسة في بناء استبيان. وخلصت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن أكبر نسبة من أفراد عينة الدراسة يزيد عدد سنوات خبرتهم الأكاديمية عن 10سنوات بنسبة 63.1%. وان أكبر نسبة من أفراد عينة الدراسة بدرجة أستاذ مساعد. وأن أفراد عينة الدراسة يوافقون على أهمية عوامل التنمية المهنية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعة الإسلامية بالمدينة المنورة بدرجة عالية. وأن أكثر عوامل التنمية المهنية أهمية من وجهة نظر عينة الدراسة هي عوامل التنمية المهنية المرتبطة بالبحث العلمي تليها في المرتبة الثانية عوامل التنمية المهنية المرتبطة بالتدريس تليها في المرتبة الثالثة والأخيرة عوامل التنمية المرتبطة بخدمة الجامعة. وأن درجة أهمية عوامل التنمية المهنية المرتبطة بالتدريس كانت عالية جدا من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة فيما يتعلق بالوعي التام بأخلاقيات مهنة التدريس. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة تصميم برامج تدريبية تلبي الاحتياج التدريبي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس لمساعدتهم على نموهم المهني في التدريس والبحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The study aimed at uncovering the most important factors contributing to the professional development of the teaching members of the Saudi universities. The study used the descriptive analytical method. The study group included 215 members of the teaching staff at the Islamic University in Medina . The study tool consisted of building a questionnaire. The results of the study showed that the largest number of the sample of the study have more than 10 years of academic experience with a percentage of 63.1%, and that the largest proportion of the study sample are working as assistant professor. Adding to that, the members of the study sample agree on the importance of professional development factors for the teaching members of the faculty of the Islamic University in Medina to a high degree, and that the most important factors of professional development from the point of view of the study sample are the factors of professional development associated with scientific research followed by the second factor of professional development related to teaching, followed by the third and final factors of development associated with the service of the university. Besides, that the degree of importance of professional development factors associated with teaching was very high from the point of view of the members of the study sample with regard to full awareness of the ethics of the teaching profession.
