المستخلص: تستقصي الدراسة الحالية مدى انتشار التفكير الخرافي لدى طلبة معلم صف في جامعة جرش الأهلية، ومعرفة مدى تأثر التفكير الخرافي ببعض المتغيرات الديمغرافية: كالنوع الاجتماعي والمستوى الدراسي ودخل الأسرة ومكان السكن. بلغ عدد أفراد الدراسة (٢٣٥) طالبا وطالبة. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تطوير أداة لقياس التفكير الخرافي لدى الطلبة، تتوافر فيها شروط الصدق والثبات المناسبة. تمت معالجة البيانات إحصائيا عن طريق حساب المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية، وتحليل التباين الرباعي Way ANOVA)-4). أوضحت نتائج الدراسة وجود التفكير الخرافي لدى أفراد الدراسة بدرجة متوسطة، إضافة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث في التفكير الخرافي؛ حيث تبين أن التفكير الخرافي لدى الإناث أعلى منه لدى الذكور. وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في التفكير الخرافي لدى أفراد الدراسة تعزى للمستوى الدراسي ودخل الأسرة ومكان السكن.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent of superstitious thinking among classroom teacher students at Jerash Private University, and to find out the effect of superstitions thinking on some variables such as gender, academic level, family income and place of living. The participants of the study were (235) male and female students. To achieve the purpose of the study, a scale of superstitious thinking was constructed which demonstrated adequate reliability and validity. The data were manipulated statistically by calculating the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and 4Way ANOVA. The results revealed that the participants of the study possess superstitious thinking to a moderate degree. In addition, there were statistical significant differences in superstitious thinking due to gender in favor of female students, and there were no statistical significant differences in superstitious thinking due to the variables of academic level, family income and place of living on superstitious thinking.
