هدفت هذه الدراسة استقصاء الاتجاه نحو العنف ضد المرأة وعلاقته بالنوع الاجتماعي (الذكوري) لدى عينة من الطلبة الذكور في كلية العلوم التربوية بجامعة آل البيت. ولتحقيق هذا الهدف، تم اختيار عينة الدراسة من طلبة جامعة آل البيت الذكور للفصل الدراسي الصيفي (2007 – 2008)، وقد بلغ عدد عينة الدراسة (114) طالباً. بعد تطبيق أدوات الدراسة تم جمع البيانات وتحليلها، وحسبت المتوسطات الحسابية، والانحرافات المعيارية لأداء الطلبة على مقاييس الدراسة, كما تم إيجاد معامل الارتباط، وتحليل الانحدار المتعدد. أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) بين متوسط أداء الطلبة على مقياس اتجاهات الطلبة نحو العنف ضد المرأة ومقياس النوع الاجتماعي (الذكوري)، كما دلت نتائج الدراسة على وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.01) بين متوسط أداء الطلبة على جميع أبعاد مقياس اتجاهات الطلبة نحو العنف ضد المرأة ومقياس النوع الاجتماعي (الذكوري). وتوصي الدراسة الاهتمام ببرامج الوقاية الأولية، والتي يمكن أن تقدم في الجامعات، وتشجيع الحملات الإعلامية للوقاية والتثقيف بدور المرأة، وتقديم برامج إرشادية في الجامعات من شأنها تحسين التواصل بين الذكور والإناث، وبرامج من شأنها بناء مهارات اجتماعية وتوكيدية تعمل على التقليل من ظاهرة العنف ضد المرأة. \
The aim of this study was to investigate the Relationship between attitudes towards violence against women and gender among male Students in the Department of Education at Al al -Bayt University To achieve this aim, the sample of the study was selected from Al al -Bayt University students, the number of there selected sample was (114) undergraduate male students from the faculty of Education at Al al-Bayt university After the completion of data collection, descriptive techniques were used to obtain means and standard statistically derivations for towards violence against women and gender, the correlation coefficient and multiple regression was used to identify the impact of the Relationship between attitudes towards violence against women and gender Among male Students in the Department of Education at Al al-Bayt University The results of the study indicated that there were statistically significant Students’ attitudes scale toward violence against women and gender scale, as results showed that there is a significant statistical difference among all aver¬ages on students’ performance on all dimensions of students, attitudes scale toward violence against women and gender scale. This study recommend to pay more attention to primary protection programs which educate public about role of women in the community, and encourage media campaign for protection and introduce counseling service in universi¬ties campuses which help to improve communication between male and fe¬male students and introduce programs to build social skills these programs it will give hands to reduce and finish violence against women phenomena.\
