يهدف البحث إلى دراسة مخاطر امتلاك إيران للسلاح النووي على العالم العربي وتسليط الضوء على مخطط التمدد الإيراني وبسط النفوذ على العراق ودول الجوار. اذ يسعى النظام في طهران إلى تحويل إيران إلى دوله عظمى في المنطقة تستطيع فرض سيطرتها وايديولوجيتها داعمة موقفها بمشروعها النووي. تكمن أهمية البحث في انه هناك ثمة مخاوف من وقوع ازمه أوسع نطاقا يحتمل أن تكون ضربة عسكرية ولم تستبعد الاداره الأمريكية اللجوء إلى الحل العسكري في حال لم تمتثل إيران لمقررات مجلس الامن عبر الوسائل الدبلماسية. وانطلاقا من هذه المعطيات فاننا نرى أن اللجوء إلى الحل العسكري ستكون له نتائج كارثيه ليس على منطقة الخليج العربي فقط وانما على منطقة الشرق الأوسط برمتها. ومن هنا جاءت مشكلة البحث في ضرورة وضع إستراتيجية أمنية وسياسية شامله تحت إشراف جامعة الدول العربية لمواجهة مخاطر التصعيد في الملف النووي الإيراني. واهم ما توصلت إليه الدراسة هو ببساطه إن امن المنطقة يمر باحرج منعطفاته إذ ان التهديد لم يعد ينصرف إلى المصالح وانما أصبح يهدد الوجود الحقيقي للامه العربية. \
The research aims at studying the risks of Iran having nuclear weapon and its impact on the Arab World by spotting light on the Iranian expansion scheme and its endeavors to dominate Iraq and its Neighboring states. The Iranian regime seeks to change Iran into a super power in the region that can impose its control and ideology aiding its stand by its nuclear project. The importance of this research lies in demonstrating the fears of having a broader crisis which might be a military strike. The American Administration does not regard resorting to military solution as unlikely in case Iran does not obey the decrees of the Security Council through the diplomatic means. Starting from this point, we find that resorting to military solution will be disastrous not only on the Gulf region, but also on the entire Middle East. From here comes the problem investigated by the research and the necessity of designing a comprehensive security and political strategy under the supervision of the Arab League to face the escalation regarding the Iranian Nuclear File. The most important tiling which the research has simply come to is that the security of the region is passing through a very critical turning as the threat is on longer targeting interests, yet it is targeting the real existence of the Arab Nation. \
