هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة درجة توافر عناصر السلوك الديمقراطي في كلية التربية بجامعة اليرموك كما يقدرها أعضاء هيئة التدريس وعلاقة ذلك بكل من الجنس، والرتبة العلمية، والقسم العلمي، وعدد سنوات التدريس. ولتحقيق ذلك طبقت استبانة تم تطويرها خصيصا لأغراض هذه الدراسة، وقد بلغت عينة الدراسة (42) عضو هيئة تدريس من كلية التربية بجامعة اليرموك، منهم (34) ذكور و(8) إناث موزعين على ثلاثة أقسام أكاديمية. وقد أظهرت الدراسة النتائج الآتية: -دلت المتوسطات الحسابية على أن درجة توافر عناصر السلوك الديمقراطي في كلية التربية كانت درجة متوسطة. -عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في درجة توافر عناصر السلوك الديمقراطي في كلية التربية بجامعة اليرموك تعز لأثر الجنس. -وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزي لأثر الرتبة العلمية في مجال الحريات الأكاديمية وكانت لصالح أستاذ مشارك وأستاذ مساعد ولا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في باقي مجالات الدراسة. -عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا في درجة توافر عناصر السلوك الديمقراطي في كلية التربية بجامعة اليرموك تعزي لأثر القسم العلمي. -وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا تعزي لأثر متغير عدد سنوات التدريس في مجال الوعي الديمقراطي وكانت لصالح أصحاب الخبرة من (5-9) سنوات ولا توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا في باقي مجالات الدراسة. وفي ضوء النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة يوصي الباحثون بان تقوم إدارة الجامعة بعقد ورشات متخصصة في مجال تأكيد وتعزيز القيم الديمقراطية بكل السبل والإمكانيات المتاحة عبر مختلف المناهج والبرامج والممارسات الجامعية.
The degree of the availability of the elements of democratic behavior in a college at Yarmouk Universilty as evaluated by the teaching staff Dr. Asma Aljaafra Dr. Bashar Alsaeleem Saida Aladwan The study aimed at knowing the degree of the availability of demmocratic behavior in the college of education at Yarmouk University as evaluated by the teaching staff and the relation of that with sex, academic rank, academic depamic department and the number of years in teaching. And to achieve that a questionnaire was applied and which was develooped specifically for the purposes of this study, and the study sample(42 )members of the teaching staff of the college of education at Yarmouk University, (34)males and (8) females divided on three academic departments. -The study showed the following conclusions: -The arithmetic mean indicated that the degree of the availability of the elements of democraic behavior in the college of education was of average degree. -There wera no statical function differnces in the degree of the availability of the elements of democratic behavior in the college of education at Yarmouk University due to the effects of sex. -The presence of statistical differences attrbuted to the effect of the academic rank in the field of acadeemic freedoms, and there were no statitsical function differences in the rest of the fields of study. -There were on statical differences in the degree of the availability of the elements of democratic behavior and in the college of education that are attributed to the effect of the academic department. -There were statitical function differences that are attributed for the variable- the number of teaching years in the area of democratic awareness- and it was in favor of the ones with experience from(5-9) years, and there no statical function differences in the rest of study areas. -Ln light of conclusions of this study, the two researchers recommend that the administration of the University conducted specialized workshops in the area of emphasizing and enhancing the democratic values by all available means through different curricula, programs and university practices.
