Deconvolution analysis is a mathematical technique which can correct an organ time activity curve for the dynamically changing pattern of blood pool activity presented to that organ .The viable deconvolution methods produce results which are effective in a clinical environment. We have presented a simple method of deconvolution by (methods of orthogonal function, which are Legender functions). Easily implementable and it requires minimal prior assumptions. A method for numerical evaluation of Laplace transform is described. A function approximation as a linear combination of a set of orthogonal basis functions which are Legender functions and the Laplace transform of the output observed is determined. The coefficients of the approximation are determined by minimizing/(x) and the chosen curve at the corresponding points.The unique property of Legender polynomials leads to good results, which are demonstrated with an example and, finally, we give an application of integral equation. |
