سعت الدراسة إلى تقييم البحوث التي أجريت بهدف معرفة الإشكاليات التي تقف أمام برامج التدريب والتأهيل العملي لطـلاب أقـسام الإعـلام وكلياتـه بالجامعات العربية، ورصد ما توصلت إليه تلك الدراسات من نتائج، لتحقيق الاستفادة المثلى من المجهودات التي بذلها الباحثون الـسابقون في هـذا المجـال ،وصياغة مقترحات تسهم في تطوير المناهج الدراسية والبرامج التدريبية الإعلامية للطلاب، وطبقت هذه الدراسة على الدراسات التي أمكن الحصول عليهـا في هذا المجال، والتي نشرت خلال الفترة من عام 1987 وحتى عام 2010. توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الدراسات التي خضعت للتحليل-في مجملها- دلـت نتائجهـا على وجود إشكاليات تقف عقبة في وجه التأهيل العملي لطلاب أقسام الإعلام وكلياته بالجامعات العربية، وتقديم خريجين مؤهلين لاقتحام سوق العمـل الإعلامي بمجالاته المختلفة، ومتطلباته المتطورة، ومن هذه الإشكاليات: اقتصار محاولات تطوير برامج التأهيل والتدريب في أقسام الإعلام وكلياته علـى تعـديل اللـوائح الدراسية على نحو يلبي التوازنات، وجلب أجهزة ومعدات دون توفير الكوادر القادرة على التعامل معها، والاستفادة منها في برامج التدريب. في ضـوء هـذه النتائج أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إعادة النظر في برامج الإعلام وخططه الدراسية الحالية بالجامعات العربية، من أجل تطويرها والارتقاء بها، حتى تخرج كوادر تستطيع المنافسة في سوق العمل الإعلامي.
The study sought to evaluate research conducted to identify the problems that are faced by training programs and practical training for students of departments and faculties of the media of Arab universities and to monitor the findings of those studies of the results to make use of the efforts made by earlier researchers in this field and formulate suggestions that would contribute to the development of curricula seminars and media training programs for students, this study was applied to studies available in this field, which were published during the period from 1987 until 2010. The study found that the studies analyzed - in their entirety - have shown the results of a problematic obstacles in the face of practical training for students of departments and faculties of the media of Arab universities and producing who graduates are qualified to enter the labor Media market with it’s different and evolving requirements. Among these problems: limited attempts to develop rehabilitation programs and training in the departments and faculties of the media to amend the regulations to meet on school balances, and bring the equipment without the provision of personnel capable of dealing with it and benefit from training programs. Based on these results, the study recommends the need to reconsider the plans and current media programs in Arab Universities to develop and improve them in order to graduate cadres capable to competing in the media labor market.
