هدفت الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى تحقق الأهداف التربوية المتعلقة بمحاور التنشئة السياسية من وجهة نظر المعلمين في المرحلة الثانوية في دولة الكويت، ومدى تأثير متغير الجنس والتخصص والمنطقة التعليمية وسنوات الخبرة على اتجاهاتهم. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم تصميم استبانة مكونة من 23 بندا موزعة على ست محاور متعلقة بالتنشئة السياسية. وقد وزعت الاستبانة على 270 معلما، وبعد جمع البيانات وتحليلها تم التوصل إلى النتائج التالية: 1. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة α = 0.05 بين الجنسين من المعلمين في اتجاههم نحو مدى تحقق الأهداف التربوية المتعلقة بالمحور الخامس وهو الثقة في النظام السياسي لصالح الذكور من المعلمين. 2. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة α = 0.05 بين المناطق التعليمية الثلاث في درجة تحقق محور الهوية والانتماء الوطني لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية لصالح منطقة الأحمدي. 3. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة α = 0.05 في المحاور الثلاثة: الهوية والانتماء الوطني، والولاء للوطن، والتفاني والإخلاص في الأداء. وكلها لصالح معلمي مادة الاجتماعيات. 4. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة α = 0.05 في اتجاهات المعلمين نحو تحقق محور الإخلاص والتفاني في الأداء لدى طلاب المرحلة الثانوية تعزى لسنوات خبرتهم لصالح المعلمين والمعلمات ذووا الخبرة الأكبر. وقد تمت مناقشة وتفسير النتائج في ضوء البحوث الدراسات السابقة، كما خلصت الدراسة إلى تقديم توصيات مناسبة لمتخذي القرار في مؤسسات التعليم العام. \
The study aimed at determining the achievement of educational goals, which are related to political education, from the point of view of secondary school teachers in the State of Kuwait. The study also investigated the effect of variables such as gender, major educational area and years of experience on teachers' attitudes. Hence, a questionnaire based on six components of political education and made up of 23 items was designed. The questionnaire was sent out to 270 teachers. After collecting and analyzing the data, the results were as follows: 1. Statistically relevant differences were found to be significant, α = 0.05, among male and female teachers on their attitudes towards the achievement of educational goals related to the fifth component (confidence in the political system), with male teachers gaining a higher percentage. 2. Differences were found to be significant, α = 0.05, among the three educational areas on how much was achieved of the ‘identity and national affiliation’ for secondary stage students. Al-Ahmadi educational area gained a higher percentage. 3. Differences were found among the score means to be significant α = 0.05 on the three following components: Identity and national affiliation – Loyalty to the homeland –dedication and devotion. Social studies teachers of both sexes achieved a higher percentage in all of these components. 4. Differences were found to be significant, α = 0.05, in teachers' attitudes, male and female, towards the achievement of the 'dedication and devotion in performance' component among secondary stage students, which are a result of their level of expertise. Teachers with longer years of experience gained a higher percentage. The findings of the study were interpreted in the light of the previous literature, and some recommendations were made at the end of the study. \
