المستخلص: تعرضت الدولة العباسية في عصورها المتأخرة إلى حوادث طبيعية أثرت تأثيرا بالغل عليها وعلى المجتمـع، مـن فيضانات بسبب زيادة نهري دجلة والفرات، مما عرض المزروعات إلى التلف والهلاك فضلاً عن تدمير المنـازل وتشريد الناس، وكذلك فقدان الأثـاث والمتـاع، وهـذا الأمـر أدى إلـى حـدوث الإمـراض والأوبئـة الفتاكـة، وكـذلك حـدوث الزلازل المدمرة التي تخلف دمارا كبيرا، وكذلك هبـوب الرياح العاتية التي فتكت بالناس، وقد حدثت أنواع مختلفة من الأمراض وكان أشدها فتكا بالناس مرض الطاعون، الذي أدى إلى موت الناس بأعداد كبيرة ،منها الموت بالمنازل والشوارع. وكـذلك تعرضـت سماء العـراق ومنهـا بغداد إلـى ظهـور ظـواهر فلكيـة ء منهـا فسوف القمـر وكسـوف الشمس ،فضك عن ظهور الكواكب البعض منها يسقط على الأرض فيخلف دمارا، وكذلك الصواعق المحرقة مخلفة ورائها دمارا هائلا، مـع هـروب النـاس عـن منـازلهم. وان كتـاب المنـتظم (لابـن الجـوزي) يحتـوى علـى معلومـات وافية عن هذه الإحداث بصورة مفصلة ودقيقة. وقد اقتضى البحث أن أقسمه إلى ثلاث مباحث:- المبحث الأول: الإحداث الطبيعية، من فيضانات ء وارتفاع مناسيب المياه في نهري دجلة والفرات" وكذلك الزلازل المدمرة التي تحدث في العراق ولاسيما بغداد، مخلفة ورائها الدمار الهائل ء وكذلك حدوث العواصف الترابية، وهبوب رياح عاتية، تقلع الأشجار وتعرض هذا المبحث إلى سقوط الإمطار والثلج والبرد الذي يسمى في عصريا الحاضر "الحالوب". أما المبحث الثاني: لف تعريض إلى الأوبئة المدمرة المهلكة في العراق ومنها عاصمة الخلافة العباسية ،كالطاعون وغيره. وتطرقت في المبحث الثالث إلى الظواهر الفلكية التي تحدث في سماء العراق ومنها بغداد من خسوف القمر وكسوف الشمس وظهور الكواكب وسقوط البعض منها.

As well as the sky was Iraq, including Baghdad, to the emergence of astronomical phenomena, including the Moon and will eclipse of the sun, as well as the emergence of planets, some of which fall to the ground causing damage, as well as lightening the Holocaust, leaving behind massive destruction, with the flight of people from their homes. And the regular book (for Ibn Jawzi) contains adequate information about these events in detail and accurate. This has been divided into three pure research: - First search: natural events, floods E and high water levels in the Tigris and Euphrates, "as well as the devastating earthquakes that occur in Iraq, particularly Baghdad, leaving behind massive destruction E as well as the occurrence of dust storms and strong winds, take off the trees and the exposure of this section to rainfall the snow and cold, which is called in modern present "hailstone". The second research: wrap to expose the devastating lethal epidemics in Iraq, including the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate, plague and others. Turning to the third research in astronomical phenomena that occur in the skies of Iraq, including Baghdad from the lunar and solar eclipses and the appearance of the planets and the fall of some of them.
