آيات الاستقبال في القرآن الكريم كثيرة ومتنوعة فقد وجدتها في كتاب الله عز وجل من خلال القراءة والتأمل قد ُذكرت ما يقرب من ثمانين مرة. أو يزيد، وهي متناثرة في السور المكية وأخرى في المدنية، وسور قد خلت منها، وأحيانًا ُذكرت في السور الطويلة وتارًة في السور القصيرة. وآيات الاستقبال التي درستها أو تناولتها مرتبطة بسين وسوف، وإن حرف الاستقبال السين ورد أكثر من ( سوف) في كتاب الله عز وجل، وأن آيات الاستقبال لها بواعث وغايات كثيرة وأنواع متعددة منها : 1. آيات الاستقبال التي تدل على الطمأنينة. 2. آيات الثواب. 3. آيات العقاب . 4. آيات الوعد. 5.آيات الوعيد والتهديد. 6. آيات الاخبار. 7.آيات الإعجاز. 8. آيات التعليم . وهذه الأقسام الآنفة الذكر اجتهدت في إطلاق مسمياتها من خلال كتب التفسير أو البلاغة أو بعض المعاجم من أجل أن تنظم في سلك واحد متشابه ومن أجل تسهيلها وتوضيحها وتبيينها فإن أصبت فإنما هو بتوفيق الله وإن أخطأت فإنما هي محاولة في طريق النجاح .ومن الله التوفيق والسداد.
Praise be to Allah, and pray and peace be upon, The prophet Mohammed: The verses denoting futurity in the Holy Qur'an are numerous and various. The researcher has found them out through attentive reading and contemplation. These verses which exceed eighty instances are scattered in the suras revealed in Macca or those revealed in al-Madina. However, some suras are devoid of futurity. Moreover, the verses denoting futurity are mentioned sometimes in the long suras and sometimes in the short ones. It is worth mentioning that the verses under study are usually connected with the particles 'seen' and 'sawfa'. It has been found that the particle al 'seen' occurs more than ('sawfa' ) in the Holy Qur'an. The verses denoting futurity have many motifs and purposes. Here are some of them: 1. verses of tranquillity expressed by a form of futurity 2. verses of rewarding 3. verses of punishment 4. verses of promising 5. verses of warning and threatening 6. verses of informing 7. verses of inimitability 8.verses of teaching. The researcher has been studiously pointing out these verses and their names depending on the books of interpretation, rhetorics or lexicographies in an attempt to organize them in an identical system so that they become clear as well as easy to understand.
