استهدف البحث التعرف على اتجاه طلبة الكلية التربوية المفتوحة/ مركز الدراسة في محافظة نينوي نحو الحاسوب وعلاقته بمتغيري التخصص (علمي، انساني) والجنس (ذكر، انثي). تم اختيار عينة البحث عشوائيا بنسبة 20% من المجتمع الأصلي وبلغت 110 طالبا وطالبه من الصف الأول من الأقسام العلمية والإنسانية في الكلية التربوية المفتوحة/ مركز الدراسة في محافظة نينوى. وقد اعتمد الباحثان مقياس الاتجاه نحو الحاسوب المعد من قبل (العزو وآخرين، 2002) أداة لقياس الاتجاه والمكونة من 65 فقرة، وتم التأكد من صدقها الظاهري وبنائها بطريقة الاختبار والبالغ (0.82). وبعد تطبيق المقياس على العينة المختارة وتحليل البيانات إحصائيا تم التوصل إلى أن اتجاه طلبة الكلية التربوية المفتوحة نحو الحاسوب إيجابيا، هناك علاقة دالة إحصائيا بين الاتجاه ومتغير التخصص لصالح التخصص العلمي وعدم وجود علاقة ارتباط دال إحصائيا تبعا لمتغير الجنس. في ضوء نتائج البحث تمت صياغته من مجموعة من الاستنتاجات والتوصيات والمقترحات.
The aim of the research is to measure the attitude of the students of the Educational College / the center of the study is in Nineveh, toward the computer and its relationship with specialization (scientific or humane) and sex (male or female). The population of the research is of 549 students, 345 male and 204 female. These are distributed upon (nine branches) two of them are scientific (department of mathematics and physics) and the other branches are humane that covers (English language, Arabic language, Islamic Education, History, psychological sciences and educational Arts and Sports). While the sample of the research is of 110 students, this is of % of the original population for the first year students of science and humane departments in the open educational college /the center of the study is in Nineveh. The questionnaire depends upon the attitude that have been developed by (Al-azzo et al 2000) to measure the attitude toward the computer which is composed of 65 items, its items fitness has been certitude about its reality, the questionnaire achieve a rate of constant of 0.82 by using re-testing method. After applying the test upon the chosen sample and after analyzing the data statically, it has been concluded that the attitude of these students is positive, generally, toward the computer, and there is a significant correlation between the attitude and the specialization variable in the benefit of scientific specialization and there is no correlation with sex variable. In the light of the above previous results; Conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions have been formulated.
