The Ottoman interest of naval geography raised by the beginning of the Ottoman State, and this interest increased after the Portuguese-Spanish imperial attack on the Islamic State in Andalusia. So…, in the name of the naval Jihad, the Ottoman State roused by its naval leaders to save the Muslims in Andalusia from their ordeal. Among them was the famous leader "Muhyyi Al-Deen Beeri Reess" who had a wide experience in naval geography acquired through his great education and knowledge in multi-languages which allowed him to know widely most things of sea sciences, in addition to his capability in naval jihad. All these characteristics enable him to present important achievements in naval geographic domain which represented in drawing two maps of the world, where they considered as one of the ancient and precise well-known maps till now. Beeri Reess also composed the most important geographical classification called "The Naval" which was important because of the huge information found in it. This book contains precise details about the shores, coasts and the naval streams that had been reached by him. Therefore, this study has been made to explain the distinguish effort exerted by the Ottoman sailor man and what he had left of important geographical heritage in naval geographical domain from which the world exploited, particularly, such studies as well as the research in this domain are very few.
