تناولت الدراسة العمل التطوعي للطالبة الجامعية بهدف التعرف على معوقاته المرتبطة بالطالبة (الشخصية) إلى جانب المجتمعية والمؤسساتية والتي تحد من ممارسته، إلى جانب المقارنة بين تلك المعوقات المتعلقة بالطالبة والمجتمع والمؤسسات التطوعية للتعرف على أي منها أكثر تأثيرًا على انتشاره، وكذلك التعرف على اتجاهات الطالبات اللائي مارسن العمل التطوعي واللائي لم يمارسنه، وذلك بهدف التوصل لإطار تصوري مقترح لمواجهة معوقات العمل التطوعي للطالبة الجامعية، ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة أن مشاركة الطالبة بالعمل التطوعي أمر هام بالنسبة إليها بنسبة بلغت (44.8%) إلى أن هناك معوقات تصادف دورهن المأمول في العمل التطوعي فهو يتطلب إمكانيات لا تتوفر لديها، إلى جانب عدم النظر بجدية من قبل الأسرة للعمل التطوعي، وخلو مناهج التدريس من التشجيع عليه، وصعوبة توفر وقت كاف للطالبة للمشاركة فيه، وترى نسبة كبيرة من مجتمع الدراسة بلغت (88.7%) أهمية اكتساب ونشر ثقافة العمل التطوعي لدى الفرد منذ الطفولة، وكذلك أهمية وجود لجان خاصة بالعمل التطوعي داخل المجتمع، وإعداد قيادات مدربة لتوعية المواطنين بأهمية العمل التطوعي، أما المعوقات المتعلقة بمؤسسات العمل التطوعي فهي عديدة وأهمها محدودية الجهات المناسبة للعمل التطوعي أمام الطالبة، وعدم تزويدها بدورات تدريبية حسب المجال المؤسسي، كما أن الدور المطلوب من المتطوعة غير واضح من قبل العديد من المؤسسات، وهي لا تتيح حرية الاختيار أمام الطالبة لاختيار العمل المناسب لها، كما أنها تفتقر الإلمام بمجالات العمل التطوعي، إلى جانب افتقار المؤسسات التطوعية تنسيق العمل التطوعي فيما بينها، والذي يحد من تبادل الخبرات ويؤدي إلى تكرار البرامج والأنشطة.
This study have been conducted on collage female students doing volunteer work in order to know the personal obstacles that stand in the way of a student practicing this kind of honorable work. In addition to social, and foundational obstacles as well .The study also contains a comparison amongst all those types of obstacles to have a closer look on each of them to know which is more affecting the spread of volunteer work . This study have also been conducted to know the female students orientation for those who have already experienced volunteer works and those who have not , in order to have a comprehensive picture of how to eliminate those obstacles . One of the main results of this study is knowing the importance of volunteer work to female collage students which in percentage has reached (44.8%). Yet there are obstacles that stand in their way since this kind of work needs certain requirements that might not be in their reach . also the lack of support from their families who are not taking volunteer work seriously . In addition to school books and curriculums that give no importance to volunteer work . Another obstacle is not having enough time to volunteer . (88.7%) of those who have been included in the study believe in the importance of gaining and spreading the awareness of the need for volunteer work since the early years of childhood . they also believe in the importance of establishing special committees within the society and training leaders to spread awareness to the public about the importance of volunteer work . As for the foundational obstacles , they are numerous and the main one is the limited availability of locations or fields where female students can actually volunteer , and also not providing the female students with the necessary tools and education relevant to realm establishments volunteering. The rule of the female students who want to volunteer is unclear and vaguely defined by many of the volunteer foundations. The establishments also do not provide the female volunteer with the flexibility to chose the area of concentration which alien with their interest . As well as the lack of comprehensive understanding of the field of volunteer work .Another obstacle is the poor coordination of projects amongst the volunteer foundations which imitate the exchange of experience knowledge that leads to redundancy of programs , and activities.
