تعتمد الدراسة الحالية على المنهج النوعي وتقنياته لبيان فعالية القصة العلمية في حل بعض المشكلات التي تواجهها معلمات رياض الأطفال بدولة الكويت عند تقديم الحقائق العلمية. وتم اختيار مفهوم "المادة" كنموذج لقياس هذه الفعالية. وقد تم اختيار روضتين من منطقة مبارك الكبير التعليمية بطريقة قصدية لإجراء مقابلات مع معلماتهن، وفي ضوء تلك المقابلات تبين أن طبيعة الأنظمة المفروضة على المعلمة كالوقت والمكان تخلق العديد من المشاكل عند تقديم الحقائق العلمية، وأن للقصة دورا فعالاً في حل تلك المشكلات، ومن هذا المنطلق تم إعداد مجموعة من القصص العلمية الإلكترونية، بحيث تسهم بحل بعض المشكلات التي وردت بالمقابلات، وتم تطبيقها على مجموعة من الأطفال، وخلصت الدراسة إلى فعالية القصص العلمية في توصيل وتذكر الحقائق العلمية بشكل فعال، وأشارت الدراسة إلى أهمية الصورة في القصص العلمية في توصيل المعاني المجردة. وتوصي الباحثة بأهمية الاهتمام بالحوارات والنشاطات التطبيقية المصاحبة للقصة: لما لها من بالغ الأثر في تنمية مهارات التفكير لدى الأطفال.
The current study has adopted the qualitative methodology and techniques to indicate the effectiveness of science story in solving problems faced by kindergarten teachers in the states of Kuwait when teaching scientific facts, and used the concept of the “Matter” as a model for measuring such effectiveness. Two Kindergartens were selected from Mubarak Al-Kabeer educational Area in a deliberate way, For interviews with the teachers, in the light of those interviews show that the nature of regulations imposed on the teachers as a time and place that creates many problems. Therefore, the researcher prepared a set of electronic scientific stories in order to solve some of the problems mentioned in the interviews. When these stories are applied to a group of children, the study found the effectiveness of scientific stories especially in connecting and remembering the scientific facts, the study pointed out the importance of image in scientific stories for connecting an abstract meaning. The researcher recommends that the importance of dialogue and applying activities associated with the story has a deep impact on the development of thinking skills on children.
