هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة امتلاك الأستاذ الجامعي للخصائص المهنية من وجهة نظر طلبة الدراسات العليا في جامعة آل البيت، وأثر كل من النوع الاجتماعي، والكلية، والمعدل التراكمي، على درجة التقدير لامتلاك الأستاذ الجامعي للخصائص المهنية. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من ( 280 ) طالبًا وطالبة من طلبة الدراسات العليا، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تصميم استبيان مكون من ( 30 ) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات (الخصائص المهنية الأكاديمية، الخصائص المهنية الاجتماعية، الخصائص المهنية الشخصية)، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج الآتية:جاءت درجة امتلاك الأستاذ الجامعي للخصائص المهنية بدرجة متوسطة على المجال الكلي للخصائص. بينما جاء ترتيب الخصائص المهنية حسب درجة امتلاكها كما يأتي : الخصائص الشخصية، الخصائص الاجتماعية، وأخيرًا جاءت الخصائص الأكاديمية، كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تقدير درجة امتلاك الأستاذ الجامعي للخصائص المهنية تعزى لمتغير النوع الاجتماعي، كما بينت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في تقدير درجة امتلاك الأستاذ الجامعي للخصائص المهنية تعزى لمتغير الكلية، والمعدل التراكمي. وأوصى الباحث بعقد دورات تدريبية لأساتذة الجامعة لزيادة النمو المهني لديهم في الجوانب الأكاديمية المختلفة.
This study aimed at identifying the extent to which a university professor possesses the professional characteristics as perceived by the graduate students in AL-al-Bayt University. It also attempted to study the effect of the social type, college, and the accumulative average on the extent to which the university professor’s possession of the professional characteristics . The sample of the study consisted of 280 male and female graduate students. To achieve the purposes of the study, a questionnaire of 30 items was designed to cover three areas: ( Academic professional features, social professional features and the personal professional features). The study achieved the following results. The degree to which the university professor possesses the professional features is at the intermediate level compared to the whole features rates. Meanwhile, the systematization of the professional features were ranked, according to the extent (degree) to which the university professor possesses as in the following arrangement: The personalized features, the social, and the academic features were in the last position. The results of the study also revealed that there were no statistical significant differences in the estimation extent to which the university professor’s possessing of the professional features that belong to the social factor. The results also showed that there were statistical differences in the estimation extent to which the university professor possesses the professional features that belong to the college variable and the accumulative average factor, too. The researcher has recommended that there should be training courses for the university professors to increase their professional development in different academic aspects.
