اتجاهات المعلمين نحو مهنة التدريس لها أثر كبير في أدائهم لها بالسلب أو الإيجاب داخل حجرة الدراسة وخارجها ، ولذلك هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد الاتجاهات نحو مهنة التدريس لطلاب برنامج التأهيل التربوي الذي أعدته وتشرف عليه كلية التربية بالقاهرة ، جامعة الأزهر ، ثم تحليل هذه الاتجاهات نحو المهنة في ضوء عوامل التخصص الأكاديمي (جغرافيا – لغة إنجليزية)، الجنس (ذكر – أنثي) المكان الجغرافي (وجه بحري – وجه قبلي) والوظيفة (يعمل – لا يعمل) ثم مقارنة النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها مع نتائج الدراسات السابقة ذات الصلة بموضوع البحث من حيث الاتفاق أو الاختلاف أو الحيادية ، وتمثلت عينة الدراسة في عدد 240 من الطلاب والطالبات الملتحقين ببرنامج دبلوم التأهيل التربوي تخصص الجغرافيا واللغة الإنجليزية في العام (المنصورة – المنوفية) واثنين في الوجه القبلي (الأقصر – أسوان) ، وتم تطبيق مقياس الاتجاهات نحو مهنة التدريس من إعداد الباحثين ولقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الاتجاهات نحو مهنة التدريس من حيث التخصص الأكاديمي حيث كانت اتجاهات الطلاب تخصص الجغرافيا أكثر إيجابية من الطلاب تخصص لغة إنجليزية نحو المهنة، كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية من حيث الجنس والموقع الجغرافي ، كما توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اتجاهات الطلاب نحو المهنة من حيث الوظيفة حيث كانت اتجاهات الذين لا يعملون أكثر إيجابية نحو مهنة التدريس من الذين على رأس العمل
Out of all professions, teaching is the noblest one. So, teachers' attitudes, either positive or negative, affect greatly their performance. This study sought to investigate the general attitudes of the EFL and Geography studqpts enrolled at the Educational Qualification Diploma Program at the Faculty of Education(FOE), Al-Azhar University, towards the teaching profession, analyze them in terms of academic specialization, gender, being employed or unemployed, and the geographical district, and show how their attitudes agree or disagree with the results of contradicting previous related studies. \\ For data collection, the study used a teachers' attitude scale constructed by the two researchers and administered on 240 students from four Egyptian governorates, two in Upper Egypt and two in Lower Egypt. \\ Results indicated that there are statistically significant differences on the mean scores of the students of Geography attitudes towards the teaching profession and those of the students of English attitudes towards the teaching profession in favor of the students of Geography. \\ Results also showed that that there are statistically significant differences on the mean scores of employed students of the two academic specializations and those of unemployed students on behalf of unemployed students of the two academic specializations. Besides, results indicated that there are no statistically significant differences on the mean scores of the , students of Geography attitudes towards the teaching profession and {hose of the students of English in tern^s of gender (malesiuid females) and geographical districts (Upper and Lower Egypt). Accordingly, the study reached some conclusions and raised some recommendations
