|a تستهدف الدراسة التعرف على تقييم طلبة قسم العلاقات العامة لعملية استخدام قواعد البيانات الالكترونية والتي توفرها المكتبة الجامعية على الموقع الالكتروني للجامعة. أجريت الدراسة على عينة من 100 طالب وطالبة في جامعة الشارقة. وتوصلت إلى أن من أهم أسباب استخدام هذه المصادر سهولة ومرونة استخدامها وتوفيرها لمصادر معلومات متنوعة. كما أشارت النتائج أيضاً إلى تنوع مجالات الاعتماد على هذه المصادر خاصة في أداء التكليفات والواجبات الدراسية.
|b The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of the electronic online information resources on Sharjah university website by public relations students. The study aimed to identify students’ level of access to online information resources, purposes of use, fields of use and problems facing their uses. The study aimed to explore the relationship of students’ use of online information resources with a selected set of variables including sex, academic grade and academic level. \\ A survey has been carried out among 100 public relations students. Results showed that public relations students use electronic resources because of its flexibility and ability to reach many useful information related to public relations . \\ Public relations students expressed that they rarely get cognitive or technical support from PR professors or librarians to improve their online research skills. \\ Public relations students have positive attitudes towards use of electronic resources in their education. The study recommended that students should be oriented to use these recourses effectively in their assignments, workshops and presentations.
