المستخلص: Damascus received a special place among all cities in the world because of its rich history and tradition، and their relevance on ancient civilizations and the history of religions، and has become one of the cities that bear the heritage replete with lessons and we have created monuments to contemporary civilizations and folks from the east and west. In Damascus the Phoenicians and the Greeks، Romans، Arabs and the tribes of Adnan lived and the folks over the illustrious history of a melting of all social and religious custom ‘this diversity of races and religions، and this fusion genealogical its impact on the diversity of social customs of the inhabitants of this city. As the geographical literature of books and trips identify the impact of the prominent historical events، especially the books of travels are considered authentic historical documents they are abstracts of their personal experiences، witnesses for periods lived ،Based on our ongoing journey to highlight the social history of the city of Damascus، our intention to review the citie's social history in the books of travelers Muslims .
