يختلف مدلول كلمة الغير كثيرًا عن مفهوم الآخر، فمفهوم الآخر ذلك أن الآخر والغير في الفلسفة يتحدد على نحو دقيق على اعتبار أن الغير هو الأنا الذي ليس أنا. أما في الفكر الإسلامي فالآخر لفظ غير متداول إلا من خلال مفهوم الغير. والغير في الفكر الإسلامي ليس هو الآخر بمفهومه الفلسفي. والغيرية في الإسلام بمعنى المخالف، فالغير هو المخالف لي والمختلف عني حسب معيار الجنس أو العرق، الدين، الثقافة، اللغة، فالآخر أو الغير هو ذلك الذي لا يشاركني نفس الانتماء الثقافي، الحضاري، والعرقي. بالتالي يجب أن تحدد دلالة الغير في المخالف. سواء كان في صورته السلبية المتمثلة في الصراع، أو الإيجابية المتمثلة في التعايش السلمي. توضيح دلالة الغيرية في القرآن الكريم وعلاقة «الآنية» بـ«الغيرية». وإطار تحديد الغيرية في القرآن الكريم، هل هو إطار المخالف؟ أم إطار اختلاف الدين أم اختلاف الثقافة أم اختلاف الوطن أم غير ذلك؟؟
The meaning of word (Disparate) is very different from (Other) since the (Other) and the (Disparate) in philosophy are specifically distinguished according to the concept that the other is ego which is not me. The Other refers, or attempts to refer, to that which is other than the initial concept being considered. In the Islamic theology the "Otherness" is circulated only according to the concept of "Disparate" [Ghayr] hence it has an Islamic concept other than the philosophical one. The Otherness in Islam refers to the Opposite of me and the Contrastive to me according to sex, race, religion, culture or language. So the other who is different from me is that who doesn't participate the same cultural, ethnic affiliation with me. This means that the meaning of "other" should be refer to Contrastive in the negative state as in conflict or positive state as in peaceful coexistence. This study is going to clarify the meaning of "Otherness" (Ghayryia) in the Holy Quran and to discuss the relationship between the "Identity" and "Otherness" as well as to distinguish the very meaning of "Otherness" in the Quran whether it means Contrastive or difference of religion, culture or home?
