إن عملية التنسيق والتكامل بين المواد الدراسية هي عملية هامة للتأكد من سريان الفلسفة التربوية المعتمدة في جميع المواد الدراسية من جهة، وللتأكد من عدم وجود تعارض بين أهداف المواد الدراسية المختلفة بحيث لا تهدم مادة ما تبنيه مادة غيرها ومن هذا المنطلق اهتمت وزارة التعليم العالي في إعداد مناهج خاصة لكليات التربية الرياضية، واهتمت بمنح درجات خاصة لكل مادة من المواد العملية والنظرية لغرض إعداد الكوادر المتخرجة إعدادا سليما، ولكون المنهج الدراسي يعد من اهم الركائز الأساسية للعملية التعليمية والتربوية فهو الطريق الصحيح لكسب المعرفة والعلوم وهو الأساس الذي يبنى عليه التعليم لتحقيق الهدف التربوي و إعداد جيل المستقبل، من هنا برزت أهمية البحث في التعرف على الدرجات المخصصة للمواد العملية والنظرية وتحليلها وتقييمها من اجل التعرف على مدى تأثيرها في التحصيل العلمي لطلبة كليات التربية الرياضية . فان التحليل والتقويم لمنهج كلية التربية الرياضية أصبح أسلوبا رافدا لتطوير المنهج وفق الأهداف الواضحة والمحددة والتي ترتبط بالثقافة الرياضية والتربوية وتغييراتها السريعة والتي تشمل التعرف على الخطة الدراسية للمواد العملية والنظرية في كلية التربية الرياضية والتي من خلالها يمكننا التعرف على الدرجات المخصصة للمواد العملية والنظرية للسنوات الدراسية الأربعة. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي بطريقة تحليل المحتوى لملائمته لطبيعة البحث. وتم استخدام تحليل المحتوى والمقابلة الشخصية كوسائل لجمع المعلومات. واستنتج الباحث بأن درجات المواد النظرية اعلى من درجات المواد العملية وان عدد الوحدات النظرية أكثر من عدد الوحدات العملية وأوصى بضرورة توازن وحدات المواد العملية مع المواد النظرية.
