المستخلص: كان هارولد بنتر (1930- 2008) كاتب مسرحي بريطاني وكاتب سيناريو ومخرج وممثل. تميزت أعماله بأسلوبها المميز. يمتلك بنتر انتباه دقيق في اكتشاف مأزق الإنسان على المسرح. كان عبثي وتعبيري وعكست مسرحياته إلا يقين. عرف بنتر الإرهاب والعذاب عند جمهوره ونقله للحياة من خلال الصمت والغيبوبة والمرض النفسي. يهدف البحث إلى تحليل أثر المرض النفسي على عمر وجمال المرأة في "كأنها الأسكا" 1982 وعلاقة المرأة والرجل وبيئة غير سليمة، تفتقد للحب والشعور الحقيقي تجاه الحياة. \

Harold Pinter (1980- 2008), was an English playwright, screenwriter , director and actor. His works had a distinctive dramatic style . He had meticulous attention to exploration of human predicament in his drama. Pinter was an absurdist and expressionistic, his plays reflected un certainty . He knew the terror and torment of his audience, and brought it to life through silence, trance, and psychological disease . The aim of the Paper is at analyzing the effect of psychological disease on woman's beauty and age in A Kind of Alaska (1982), and woman- man relationship in the unhealthy environment, which lacks love and genuine sense towards life. The Paper is divided into two sections and a conclusion. Section one sheds light on Harold Pinter's life. Section two discuses the crisis of the heroine as she confronts the reality after her temporary awakening from her sleeping sickness .Conclusion sumps up to the finding of the Paper. \
