المستخلص: Halal food is precious gift of Allah Almighty. All the Muslims in the whole world believe Halal food is ultimately safe and healthy food. There is increasing trend towards awareness of Halal food among Muslim community throughout the world. Increasing demand for Halal food products has created opportunities for food producers in international markets. There are thousands of small and medium producers of Halal products they also want to participate in global Halal trade, but Lack of Islamic knowledge and Fiqh standards of Halal products; it has become a challenge for them. Although science and technology has revolutionized latest techniques in food sector but unfortunately food sciences have been majorly occupied by non-Muslim technologists; they based Food Sciences and Food Technology as a tool for Halal food inquiry. Islam is a complete code of life and all food standards are mentioned and discussed in Islam. For Muslims it would be on first priority to follow standards of Islamic FIQH. This paper will look at the authentic data of Islamic Standards and will explain current Islamic inquiry system of Halal food ingredients and also explain the Food product’s Islamic status according to Quran and Sunnah. Further it would be explained Food technology is too important for the research and development, but the final decision and status will be defined by the Quran and Sunnah. The reference from Fiqh will be mandatory to explain and justify the status of food ingredients and no one has the authority to decide about Halal and Haram of food ingredients until proved by the Quran and Sunnah which is ultimately origion and guidance for Muslim community in the world.
