المستخلص: أخذ الوقف أهمية كبيرة في حياة المسلمين وخصوصا إذا كان هذا الوقف للأعمال الخيرية ، فكلما آمن الواقفون على أوقافهم ازداد الوقف ، وكلما خشي الواقفون على أوقافهم انصرف الناس عن حبس أموالهم ، لذلك كان للدولة دور مهم في بث الثقة في نفوس الناس وحماية الوقف من خلال إصدار التشريعات اللازمة لحمايته سواء تم اعتباره من الأموال العامة أو من الأموال الخاصة ، وأيضا من خلال الجهات التي تراقب وتدقق على الأوقاف ، حيث كان للرقابة الشرعية التي يشرف عليها علماء متخصصون في علم الشريعة دور مهم في زيادة ثقة الناس بالمؤسسات الوقفية التي تشرف على أوقافهم ، لذلك كان لزاماً الاهتمام بهذا الجانب وتطويره حتى يثق الناس بان أوقافهم يصرف ريعها على ما وضعت لأجله.

Endowment or Waqf played an important role in the life of Muslims, particularly if it is allocated for charity purposes, the more security that Endowers feel on their endowments the more desire they have to allocate endowments, but if they feel that their endowments are not secured, people will be less wiling to allocate their funds for endowments, therefore the State has an important role to assure people of the secure condition of their endowments through the enactment of the necessary legislation for protection, whether such endowments are considered as public or private Funds, also through the Authorities which supervise endowments, the Legislative Islamic Control supervised by scholars of Islamic Provsions has an important role to enhance people’s confidence in the Endowments Institutions which supervise their endowments, therefore such aspect should be supported so that people are assured that the outcome of their endowments are spent for the desired purposes.
