لا شك في أننا نعيش اليوم عصر انفجار معلوماتي هائل، وكيانات إعلامية تواصلية ضخمة، وثورة في تقنية الاتصالات فاقت حدود التمني، وجعلت المسئولية جسيمة في عصر الثورة المعلوماتية، من هنا جاء موقع الإسلام اليوم (www.Islamtoday) على الشبكة العالمية (الإنترنت) تقدم الأصالة الإسلامية معتمدا المعاصرة أسلوبا في العرض والتناول، فهو موقع إسلامي يتصف بالتكامل والتجديد في آن واحد، ومن يطالعه يجد الخبر، والتقرير، والتحقيق والمقابلة، والمقالات، والمحاضرة، والتوجيه والرشيد، والدرس العلمي النافع، والفتاوى والمتابعات الثقافية والأدبية، وغيرها من أشكال العمل الإعلامي الذي يغطي مستجدات الحوادث من جهة أخرى، يحمل هذا الموقع رسالة للمسلمين, ودعوة إلي غير المسلمين، ويسعي إلي أن يكون دعامة لترسيخ العقيدة الصحيحة في قلوب المسلمين. وجاء هذا البحث ليسلط الضوء على موقع الإسلام اليوم وإسهامه في الدعوة إلي الله، وقد ركز البحث على أهمية المواقع الدعوية وقواعد إنشائها وخصائصها, والتعريف بموقع الإسلام اليوم من حيث النشأة والأهداف والمحتويات، ثم تحليله من حيث الشكل والمضمون. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل اليها, يسهم موقع الإسلام اليوم بشكل فاعل في اطلاع غير المسلمين على الصورة الحقيقية للإسلام, وبطريقة مبسطة وسهلة, وان موقع الإسلام اليوم من المواقع المتميزة من حيث الشكل والمضمون. وبناءا على ما خلصت إليه الدراسة، يوصى الباحث بضرورة إنشاء مواقع إلكترونية تعرف بالإسلام وعلومه بمختلف اللغات العالمية، كما يوصى الباحث بضرورة تدريس موسوعة الإسلام المترجمة في موقع الإسلام اليوم لطلبة الدعوة الإسلامية، للاستفادة منها في تبليغ الإسلام لغير الناطقين بالعربية \
