The body in the poetry of the initial Islamic period and Al-umawi era constitute a unique and salient phenomenon which makes the poets pay a hention to it and to analyse that poetry . The poetry which the poets have dealt with is related to the body any body whether male or female . The body represents language which is the production of many vocabularies and meaning . The body becomes in modern humanize culture as a symbol general for the world and which is the source of the who el humanci symbols . The whole and essential studies that makes approximation to this subject that makes much emotions and feelings towards some aesthetic things . Modern Arabic culture does nest pay much aHention to the the subject of the body , it has foraflong time ignored . That is of course related to cautions and warnings of manner matters related to this subject . some cautions were of religious nature moral or social ones . So the essence of the body remains isolated and of materialistic nature . No one pays attention to the moral issues , knowledge , philosophy, or semantic issues related to it . The whole dissertation can be divided into four chapters with introduction and conclusions . Introduction includes the definition of the body and some related terms to it , and glorious Qurran for the sake of examination to some of religious . philosophical and heritage dimentions . Besides looking for poetry which is related to the intial perod of Islam , and Al-Amawi era . Many steps are taken to specify the concept of the body to the exact notion used in the research . chapter one deals with the presence of the body through the sacred and offenced ones as a first part . This shows the view of the poet in establishing the essence of poetry which is in full harmony with the religious situation in which he was influenced to be within his poetry . The poetry then can be used as religious elocution . The second notion in which the researcher has used the body is with the reflection of nature through similarities which are made to show description of the body for male and female . To show the beauty of aesthetic maHers and symbolic issues with different meanings is very significant to reflect the concept of power beauty , life and fertility which are represented in the poetry . chapter two concerns all matters related to the body as imaginative description . so chapter one is the view of the poet to the body of the imaginative man , through his description to mans ability, heroic roles , power , courage , and the values of chivalry , in which the poet make some exaggeration to some description as features of the body of a man . While chapter two deals with the poetic view towards the imaginative reflections to the body of the women .these reflections are values of high beauty , perfection , and fertility . chapter three which lies in three sections deals with the body as reality , observing some notions necated to the influence of war on the body , that is with section one . section tow links the body with the topic of those people who are young and old aged . The period which is away from the selfness to some old aged people , and the wish to regain the youth to hare some adventures and fun with the women . section three deals with the concepts of death and body . That concept the poet wishes that the Arabic man wishes to achieve his death on the earth of the battle , because the man wishes to die on his bed to refer to the continuity of activity towards the body and its energy . Chapter four deals with the body in symbolic language and aesthetic one , which can be divided into three sections one is concerned with observing the body as a symbol reflects the whole parts of the selfness , whet her positive or negative according to the poetic function used it , and the interlude meaning used for the concept it self . section two includes the trace which is used as a main language which has a large number of marks and referent through the reflection of the body itself . The language used for the reflection of ideas from one person to another . section three is related to the be longing ness of the body like trails or marks , clothes , furniture and everything related to the effective symbolic aesthetic values , which are going to change the picture of the body and reform it in another way , that is very attractive and continual language . Finally the research ends with many concluding points that are the just of the previous chapters , and then ends with the list of bibliography . The research starts with analytic view , comprehensive , descriptive and essential , which are related to critical references . The research in the textbooks of the modern , Islamic and Al-Amawi poets to collect different views of poets to show their opinion towards the topic of the body from different poetic sides . These sides enrich the subject of the dissertation with different chapters , besides some main references and literary studies whether ancient or modern ones . |
