هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع تلبية المناهج الدراسية لحاجات المجتمع. وسعت إلى توضيح واقع مشاركة المجتمع في تطوير المناهج الدراسية. واهتمت بتزويد القائمين على النظام التعليمي بتصور مقترح لتعزيز مشاركة المجتمع في تطوير هذه المناهج. واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وتكونت الدراسة من مجموعة من العناصر تمثلت في المقدمة ومشكلة الدراسة وأسئلة الدراسة وأهمية الدراسة وأهداف الدراسة ومصطلحات الدراسة. ثم انتقلت إلى الإطار النظري والذي اشتمل على عدة عناصر وهي أولا المجتمع وعلاقته بالمنهج الدراسي والذي يندرج تحته علاقة المنهج بالوظيفة الاجتماعية بالمدرسة وبالواقع الثقافي للمجتمع وبمبادئ المجتمع وبالأسرة وبعض الجماعات والمؤسسات الاجتماعية الأخرى. ثانيا مراحل تطوير المناهج في المملكة العربية السعودية. ثالثا واقع مشاركة المجتمع في تطوير المنهج في المملكة العربية السعودية. رابعا مبررات إشراك المجتمع في تطوير المناهج الدراسية. خامسا مشاركة المجتمع في عمليات المناهج الدراسية بين الواقع المأمول. سادسا تعزيز دور ولى الأمر في المشاركة في عمليات المناهج الدراسية. سابعا معوقات الشراكة بين الأسرة والمدرسة. ثامنا تأسيس دور مؤسسات المجتمع المختلفة في عمليات المناهج المدرسية. تاسعا التصور المقترح لتعزيز دور المجتمع في تطوير المناهج الدراسية. وأخيرا اختتمت الدراسة بمجموعة من المراجع العربية. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018

The study aimed to identify the reality of addressing the curriculum satisfaction for the needs of the community. It sought to clarify the reality of the community participation in the curriculum development and was concerned with providing the educational system with a proposed conception to enhance the participation of society in the development of these curricula. The study used the descriptive analytical method. The study consisted of a group of elements that were presented in the introduction, the problem of the study, the study questions, the importance of the study and its objectives and terms, then it moved to the theoretical framework which included several elements, first is the community and its relationship to the curriculum which falls under the relationship curriculum to the social function of the school, the cultural reality of society, the principles of society and the family and some other social groups and institutions. Second are the stages of curriculum development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Third is the reality of community participation in the curriculum development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Fourth are the Justifications for involving the community in the curriculum development. Fifthly, the participation of the community in the curriculum processes between the expected reality. Sixth is to enhance the role of parents in participating in the curriculum processes. Seventh are obstacles to the partnership between the family and the school. Eighth is to establish the role of the different community institutions in the school curriculum processes. Ninth is the proposed scenario to enhance the role of society in the development of curricula.
